Catherine L. Tietz Boring
Catherine has gathered molten glass on pipes since 1986, laying colors and space in the clear base. "Glass, clay, and metals are blended together to create unique floral vessels, paperweights, and sculptures," she says. Her bright, colorful, molten art glass contains gold, silver, and copper and are often combined with clay vessels to create her "Glass-Handled Pottery."
Sylvana Whitaker
A graduate of the Ringling School of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida, Sylvana fell in love with clay through a required course. It was then that she changed her major from painting to sculpture and now refers to herself as a "clay painter." Most of her work is done in the form of wall reliefs, although she does enjoy creating free-standing sculptures. Her work has been featured in shows in the American Embassy in Madrid, Spain; Longboat Key, Florida; Winterpark, Florida; and Chicago, Illinois. She has been commissioned by organizations such as Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida; the Bexley Monk Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, and DL Long, Inc., in Columbus. Her work is currently featured at the Terra Gallery in the Short North, Columbus, Ohio, and at The Dreaming Tree Gallery in Groveport, Ohio.



Denny McCann
The sportsmans life has provided many outdoor experiences for Denny. A love for old homestead buildings, streams, wildlife and nature provide an endless variety of subject matter that appeal to art lovers everything. His desire to master various techniques, design, reflective light and subject compositions can be experienced by viewing his work. "Taking a one-dimension canvas or paper and creating it into a two-dimensional scene through design, depth perception, light and shadow -- that is a successful painting," states McCann.


Angela Finney
For over twenty years Angela has use oil pastels and colored pencils to create lively and colorful animal portraits. She has attended the American Academy of Equine Art workshop with Sam Savitt and taken classes at the Columbus College of Art and Design, the Art Department at Toledo University, and the Kent State University Fine Art Department. Angela feels blessed when she creates a treasured piece of art which captures the unique beauty and character of an animal.


Don Tran
Don is the youngest of thirteen children and, like the other members of his family, carries on the family talent of creating exquisite handcrafted silk embroidery, a business that has been in the Vietnamese Tran family for generations. Created on black linen fabric, Don utilizes both painting and intricate cross stitch designs, both in vibrant colors, a pain-staking process that is the result of immense patience and talent.



John Darlin
John Darlin uses a design process based on an ancient Egyptian art form involving 14kt-gold and sterling silver wire-wrap techniques to create his beautiful jewelry. With over 19 years of experience as a jewelry designer, John's bracelets have been selected by the by Kentucky Governor Ernie Fletcher and his wife, Glenna, to be presented to special guests of the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Abram Kaplan's digital photography offers unique insight into the human connection with agriculture and our rural landscape with minimal manipulation.

Barb Barbee
Barb uses sterling silver, Argentium sterling silver, 14K gold, and copper in her jewelry designs, incorporating silversmith work, wire wrapping, and beadwork to create a unique look. She is a member of the International Guild of Wire Jewelry Artists and the Worthington Craft Guild.



Jan Allmon



Matt Sisk
The creative mixture of wildlife paintings and pet portraits rendered on chiseled slate separates Matt from other wildlife artists. His hometown of Tuscon, Arizona, fosters his love of the outdoors, and he photographs skyscapes, lightning, and other scenes, utilizing them as references for his work. He finds each piece of slate has its own individual characteristics that enhances his paintings, candles, and other unique pieces.


Colette Zilka
Having learned her trade at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto, Canada, Colette returned to her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, where she continues to work in the jewelry field with her business, CAZ Designs. Primarily using sterling silver, Colette is drawn to the variety of techniques that a metalsmith uses to create texture, including piercing, doming, fusing, chasing, and casting. When working on her pieces, she draws from her love of humor and nature to create thought-provoking pieces that are accessible to the viewer.


Cindy R. Sams
Cindy offers unique, custom-designed canvased floorcloths and wall coverings in both traditional and contemporary designs. Her work has been featured in the Columbus BIA Parade of Homes, and she has led workshops at both the Columbus Arts Festival and the Decorative Arts Center of Ohio, where she was asked to be in the "Completely Floored" exhibition. According to Cindy, her "work has grown from the use of acrylics and with glazes to the inclusion of metallic paints."
This is the second year Granville Art Affair is featuring Cindy and her beautiful floorcloths.



Greg Henwood
A life-long resident of Lancaster, Ohio, Greg started painting in 1993. After suffering from a stroke that affected his right hand in 2005, Greg picked up the paintbrush again -- this time with his left hand -- and found his talent still intact. Since then, he has created more than 85 paintings. Greg's love of color and the outdoors is evident in his work, which is mainly in oil with the occasional piece created in acrylics. Greg wants the person viewing one of his paintings "to imagine coming over a hill or around a bend and being in that world."
