Sandy Libertini and Melinda Moore are both local Granville residents, a village rich in civic consciousness and artistic awareness. They formed Grand Scheme Promotions out of a vision of bringing the first outdoor fine arts festival to Licking County. They felt a town as richly artistic as Granville needed an organization with the expertise to bring the art community together.
A graduate of the Ohio State University, Columbus, where she majored in marketing, Sandy earned a B.S. in Business Administration and has held several corporate advertising positions. Ultimately, she held both advertising and marketing director positions with Forest City Management and Prime Retail, Inc., both shopping center developers, where she gained extensive experience preparing and implementing strategic marketing and promotional plans, budgets, and events for regional malls. She also spent eight years with the Reynoldsburg Tomato Festival, where she served as a trustee and organized events and corporate sponsorship programs. Sandy continues to organize fundraising events for the Newark Area Soccer Association and more recently, served on the Granville PTO Auction Committee in the sponsorship capacity. Sandy can be reached at slibertini@roadrunner.com.
Melinda Moore graduated from the Florida State University with a B.S. in English and Business and child development. She has worked in various capacities as an imaging specialist in the computer department at Ashland Oil and as the Human Resources Assistant at Corbin, Ltd., where she utilized her marketing skills. Using her child development and music skills, Melinda taught Kindermusik in her studio and at The Works in downtown Newark. She is also the owner of Village Toffee. Melinda gained events planning experience while serving as vice president of a civic group, The Cornerstone Society, in Ashland, Kentucky, where she planned and marketed large community events. Melinda’s love for the arts landed her the role as former president of the Central Ohio Youth Ballet where she gained experience in organizing, implementing and producing The Nutcracker at the Midland Theatre. She also recently served on the Granville PTO Auction Committee generating sponsorships and various other civic committees. Contact Melinda at villagetoffee@windstream.net.
